Therapy for Individuals & Couples

You might be here because it feels like things are never going to get better.
Maybe you’ve been trying to hold it all together — for your partner, your family, your job — but inside, you feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected.

You might catch yourself thinking:

“Why don’t other people struggle the way I do?”
“Maybe I just need to work harder, be nicer, or try more.”
“People are going to find out I’m a fraud.”
“No matter what I do, it’s never enough.”

It can feel like you can’t keep this up much longer. You might blame yourself or overthink everything, knowing deep down that you’re not living to your full potential — caught in a cycle of anxiety, sadness, or self-doubt.

Maybe you’re always there for everyone else, but no one seems to be there for you.

Starting therapy could be your first step toward change — and toward something you’ve probably neglected for far too long: yourself.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a private, supportive space to explore what’s holding you back and begin moving toward a life that feels lighter, calmer, and more aligned with who you truly are.

We’ll meet once a week for 50 minutes, focusing on both insight and practical strategies to help you manage what’s overwhelming you. Together, we’ll set achievable goals and work toward them by building coping skills, reshaping unhelpful thought patterns, and cultivating a stronger, more compassionate sense of self.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety and stress management

  • Depression and low motivation

  • Emotional regulation and anger

  • Grief and loss

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Relationship concerns

  • Work-life balance and burnout

  • Life transitions (divorce, relocation, career changes, graduation)

  • Substance use or unhealthy coping patterns

Therapeutic approaches may include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) • Mindfulness • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) • Person-Centered • Solution-Focused • Narrative • Gestalt

Couples Therapy: How It Can Help

It’s not uncommon for couples to encounter challenges along the road of their relationship journey. I’m a couples therapist who’s been married for over 20 years and has raised a family, so I understand firsthand that relationships can be hard — but they’re worth fighting for.

As a therapist trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Couples Therapy, I help partners navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen connection.

In a safe and supportive environment, my goal is to help both partners express their thoughts and emotions openly, so each feels heard and understood. By exploring the underlying causes of pain and disconnection, we can work toward healthier communication, renewed trust, and a stronger emotional bond.

Taking the step to seek help is a brave and meaningful decision — one that can lead to greater love, understanding, and joy in your relationship.

Couples therapy can help you:

  • Rebuild trust and communication

  • Heal from conflict or betrayal

  • Strengthen emotional and physical intimacy

  • Navigate major life transitions

  • Learn practical tools to prevent recurring patterns

  • Deepen empathy and connection

Let’s work together to help you create a relationship that feels secure, supportive, and fulfilling.

Taking the First Step

Whether you come to therapy on your own or with your partner, our work begins with a shared goal: to help you feel more grounded, understood, and capable of creating meaningful change.

You don’t have to keep pushing through on your own.
Healing starts when you decide you’re ready for things to be different.
